Regional Music Promoters

SW1 Productions are first and foremost 'regional music promoters' who currently work with many of the UK and US's leading 'live booking agents'.

Working alongside a handful of Cornwall's venues (i.e. Hall for Cornwall in Truro, Princess Pavilion in Falmouth, the Stannary and Acorn Arts Centre in Penzance), SW1 are keen to encourage more 'touring' bands to the region.

SW1 are equipped to promote shows through a strong Media database, poster and flyer distribution (through approved outlets), SW1 direct mail shot (to our database of over 1000 dedicated music fans in the region) and through the internet via our own website and www.myspace.com/sw1productionsuk as well as other music related websites.

Cornwall has a very eclectic taste in music, however, SW1 Productions focus on original acts which represent the current national music scene.

Co-promotions

SW1 are also interested in co-promotion opportunities - with our knowledge of the local music scene we are perfectly placed to co-ordinate all local PR, advancing and production requirements (including the sourcing of Production personnel).

Booking agent

With established links to some of the major live booking agents in the UK and US, SW1 are able to develop line-up formulas for festival type events.

Currently 'booking' for Rip Curl Boardmasters Unleashed and Beach Sessions 08 and Nass Festival 08. SW1 are experienced in the job of creating line up formulas that work for your type of event.

Please note that SW1 only offer this service for events that are already licensed, financed and over 3000 capacity.

Production management

SW1 have built a team of production associates and are able to offer a full 'Production Package' (to include stage management/assistance, PA, lighting, staging etc). SW1 will undertake the management of this team, and would take on all artist and TM liaison, overseeing sound checks, running order, liaison with venue on security issues, doors, guest lists, special requests etc.

We also have access to a team of 'Production associates' (Security, Stage Management, Stage Crew, PA, Lighting etc) whom we could recommend for your event.

SW1 Productions current client base includes; Sportsvision Ltd (Rip Curl Boardmasters 'Unleashed', Nass Festival 08 and 'Beach Sessions'), , Rip Curl UK, Urban Safari, Live Nation Ltd and environmental pressure group Surfers Against Sewage.
