Last year's sessions brought you 7 consecutive sell-out nights of live music from the likes of Enter Shikari, Seasick Steve and this year's Boardmasters Unleashed headliners, The Pigeon Detectives.

Kicking things off on Monday August 4th will be a very special impromptu live set from rock poppers Elliot Minor. The band's infamous blend of pop and punk has earned them an ironclad fan base as well as regular plays on Radio 1'S A list. The band's show at this year's Rip Curl Boardmasters will be one of many special guest appearances taking place in the trade village.

If Elliot Minor wasn't already enough, Monday night will see South Wales' post-hardcore hero's Kids In Glass Houses take to the stage as the first official Beach Session set of the week.

Support on the night comes from Cornwall's own hero's I Say Marvin who will inject a healthy dose of their indie electro rock into the night's proceedings.

Opening the night will be Manchester's answer to Motley Crue, Dear Superstar.

The Brighton based foursome have reached major critical acclaim this year with their latest album 'Do You Like Rock Music' selling over a million copies and receiving major praise from some of the UK's best loved music titles. "Stadium-sized melodies and exquisite songwriting," said MOJO. The NME was in accord, "Out of this world..." The Sunday Times simply stated that BSP were, "The best band in Britain." Their show at this year's Boardmasters will be their most intimate this summer with main stage slots confirmed at the likes of Glastonbury and T in the Park.

Main support for this show comes from Flamboyant Bella. Based in Hitchin FB are currently in the middle of an extensive UK tour taking their indie electro pop around to the depths of the country.
Described by the NME as 'My Bloody Valentine-esque', Cornwall's hotly tipped The Reels will be opening the show.

Wednesday will play host to an impressive bill of underground hip hop and reggae acts and MC's including Rodney P and The Nextmen. The Nextmen, the hip hop producing duo are no strangers to the live scene having worked with everyone from The Pharcyde to RCB Unleashed headliners Groove Armada.

Thursday's line-up, which is hosted by Rip Curl Girls Go Surfing, will see more eclectic artists taking to the stage including local Mercury music award nominated folk hero Seth Lakeman.

Special guest support on the night comes from the achingly talented Cornish singer-songwriter, Ruarri Joseph. Having recently toured with Seth Lakeman and a new album due, Ruarri will be returning with his band after a hugely successful main stage slot at last year's Unleashed.

Taking a break from the Beach Sessions, live music for the week will then move to the stunning cliff top location at Watergate bay for this Rip Curl Boardmasters Unleashed. Music will come from the likes of Groove Armada, The Pigeon Detectives, special guests The Zutons and The Futureheads plus many more. The full line-up is available from www.ripcurlboardmasters.com

The Beach Sessions returns to Fistral Beach on Sunday evening for the Rip Curl Boardmasters official closing party.

Originally advertised headliners Shapeshifter have unfortunately had to pull out of their performance due to unforeseen circumstances. But all is not lost...
