Following their huge singles Just For Tonight and It's About Time, their Gold top 10 debut album Started A Fire and three sold out tours, One Night Only are back with the release of their fourth single, You And Me, released on 21st July and a UK tour for the Autumn, which includes a date at the Princess
Pavilion in Falmouth on Monday 06th October.
One Night Only are certainly one of the bands of 2008 so far, and the teenage five-piece show no signs of stopping.
One Night Only toured solidly throughout 2007, supporting the likes of The Pigeon Detectives, The Enemy, The Coral and The Kooks and continue to do so during 2008. Having three sold out headline tours under their belt, One Night Only have just announced another tour for the Autumn. Their May tour sold out within days, leading to an extra London date being announced. They have also been confirmed for MTV's Spanking New Music Tour at the beginning of May.
Formed in 2003, when singer George was just 12, One Night Only started out as a bunch of school friends ‘just making noise' in their rural hometown of Helmsley, North Yorkshire. They went on to spend the following two years tearing the vaulted roof off the local scene. It was only a matter of time before One Night Only broke out of Helmsley. They knuckled down, wrote some songs and in Oct '06, Steve Lamacq began spinning the demo
of You And Me, prompting the band to start taking themselves seriously. The teenagers quickly became subject of a fierce A&R battle and signed to Vertigo, home of The Killers and Razorlight, in March 2007.
Support details to be announced. Tickets for the show are £10.50 in advance and go on general sale from Friday 2nd May, available from www.seetickets.com 0871 2200260 (24hr), Princess Pavilion Box office 01326 211222 or from Sneaky Peanut in Falmouth. All subject to booking fee.
